Ah…. Christmas in July! Sounds refreshing doesn’t it? ( I will explain)….
I spent a wonderful week at fiddle camp in Clear Lake, Manitoba with great instructors, students and parents. What a beautiful spot. I wish I lived closer. We even spent one evening jamming on a sunset cruise!
From there, I headed straight to Glengarry (Mom and Dad’s) to work on musical arrangements for a Christmas CD I’m preparing for release this fall. Dad felt his golf days were being rushed (ha) and didn’t like the idea.
The songs are coming along really nicely and I’m excited about finally recording this project. Something to soon scratch off my bucket list. With songs now arranged with Greg Simm, we have the actual recording scheduled for late August in N.S. Stay tuned for more details….
Now…. looking forward to several shows I have coming up with the Mushy Peas. Westben, this weekend then Erinsville and Verona. Nice to have some gigs close to home. Hope to have a chance to talk to some friends and folks at these events. Thank you for coming out to show your support…. Enjoy this nice relief from the hunidity!
