Thank you all for coming out to see my shows with the Mushy Peas this weekend. We had a great time celebrating Erinsville’s 175th anniversary and performing at the rapidly growing Verona Festival! It is always great when I get to play with the Mushy Peas again and doing concerts close to home is a bonus. I really appreciate the friendship and support and the chance to say hello to friends I rarely get to see.
The calendar suggests that I have a couple of weeks off but this is a busy time just “getting ready” for the next series of events:
I will be out to NS to play and sing for a CD release for Bernie Leblanc late next week (along with Ray Legere). Following that, I head straight to the Canadian Grand Masters’ Fiddle Camp where I will teach all week with other great fiddle instructors, Gordon Stobbe, Shane Cook, Brian Hebert, Troy MacGilliveray and more… then judge the Grand Masters’ competition that weekend. The next day, I will fly back to NS to spend 4-5 days recording my Christmas CD, oddly enough. From there, it’s back to Ottawa and straight down to Altamont, NY to perform with the Brigadoons over Labour Day weekend.
Ahhh and then it’s back to school for many people! Time to get back to some sort of schedule….?
Please take a look at my concert dates with Greg Simm from mid to late September…. Would love to see some of you out! Enjoy the rest of your summer. Kelli
