Well I”m hitting the road today for Bridgewater, NS to take part in a CD release concert at the Hank Snow Festival.  Should be great fun working with Ray Legere.

From there… it’s back to Ontario and straight to the Grand Masters Fiddle Camp.  I will teach there for the week with other great fiddlers and instructors.  The week will wrap up with the Grand Masters Fiddle Competition with the best of the best from Across Canada.  I will be judging the competition with Troy MacGilliveray and Brian Hebert.

Then it’s back to Halifax, NS where I will be recording my Christmas CD with Greg Simm and some other fine musicians.  Very exciting and I guess I should be sporting a Santa Hat by then?

Hope to wrap things up there, no pun intended, and then off to Altamont, NY with the Brigadoons for the long weekend.  Will be performing at the Highland Games there.

Home for 2 days to prepare for the CCMA’s.  I will be part of the back up band for the showcasing Ontario artists this year.  Much to learn but looking forward to playing with Wendell Ferguson again and John Diamond.

Finally…. it’s off to Marmora on September 9th to play at the big festival there with the Mushy Peas!  Hope I can remember OUR show by then!

It will be a great 4 weeks and it will fly by.  Looking forward to all of it.  I hope to see many of you between now and then.

Enjoy the rest of the summer…. cheers, Kelli
