Just home from two weeks of work in the West.
I had a great time teaching at FiddlyNess at Ness Creek. The first annual fiddle camp there. It won’t be the last! It was a great spot and everyone was wonderful to work and play with.
Enjoyed two shows in SK with Troy MacGilliveray and Jake Charron. Good music and great laughs along the way. Two people I would love to see more of, for sure. Thank you to Cathy Sproule for setting everything up for us. She can really make things happen and DOES!
Thank you to Daria Watkin and everyone at Clear Lake for another great fiddle week. We have really become a big family there and it is a reunion every year. Thank you to all of our students and to everyone who helped out through the week.
I had to come home for a rest but I came home with great pictures and more wonderful memories.
Now….. to focus on Band work coming up!!!! I hope you’re all enjoying the summer season. We can’t complain about the heat after the winter we had.
